A little snippet of my Saturday 10am class at Parsley Pie Hale!
I’ve been running the art club for over 17 years & i LOVE it!
Sometimes I cannot be bothered with all the admin side of things but i always look forward to doing the actual classes!
Many of the kids in this class have been coming for 2 or 3 years & some for longer!
Izzy has been coming at 10am every Saturday for about 6 years!
The ethos since day one, back in 2001, is all about FREEDOM!!
Freedom of choice & self expression!
At Parsley Pie there’s
NO pressure
NO curriculum
NO deadlines
NO judgement
The children can tap into their own imaginations & use this own ideas! YAY!!!
They can choose from things like ~
clay
t shirt painting
mosaic
glass painting
decorating plant pots
mask making
canvas painting
& lots lots more!
The studio here is super messy, every surface caked in paint, clay, glue, glitter & gunk!
It’s ace!!
We have 2 clubs, one in Altrincham in South Manchester & one Whitefield in North Manchester!
