Did you know, the oldest known cave paintings are over 40,000 years old (art of the Upper Paleolithic), found in both the Franco-Cantabrian region in western Europe, and in the caves in the district of Maros (Sulawesi, Indonesia)?!

WOW!!!!!! I mean just wow. This kind of stuff just blows my mind!!

It is so deep within our human nature to be creative!

To get what is in our minds, our imaginations, our feelings, OUT!!

To make our mark!

It’s utterly fascinating, remarkable & precious!

I’ve been running my children’s art club for over 18 years!

Still going strong, still busy, children WANT to make & create!

Over the last 18 years, I have worked with all different kinds of children, all ages & abilities, including children who have sight & hearing difficulties, children who are suffering with low self esteem, Autism, anxiety, ADHD, Asperger syndrome & Dyspraxia

I always treat all the children who come to Parsley Pie as individual beings, with individual needs, likes, dislikes & interests

I think this is so vitally important that their uniqueness & differences are embraced & not viewed on in a negative light!

In my art classes, there is no pressure or judgement, children are not graded or given strict deadlines or goals, the whole point of Parsley Pie Art Club is to give children, what ever their age, ability or background, the chance to relax, express themselves & learn! My priority is to make sure the children enjoy the class & the process of creating & leave with a smile on their face!
