BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Agents, restaurants, & private clients - please ensure you read the terms listed below before booking
• Zaliah does not perform at all male parties or stag nights
• Zaliah’s performances are fun & always family friendly; however should she experience any inappropriate or lewd language or behaviour from either men or women during her set, (particularly during any audience participation) she reserves the right to cut her dance short & exit the dance floor.
• All fees must be agreed beforehand and confirmed via letter or email
• Zaliah may require a deposit in advance of her performance to secure the booking
• Zaliah is to be paid prior to her performance on the day, in full, or the remaining balance if the client paid a deposit
• Zaliah does not arrive earlier than 30 mins before the required performance
• Zaliah does not hang around after a performance nor is she expected to act as hostesses once her performances are completed.
Please also take into consideration that the venue/party organiser/client is responsible for:
• provding a suitable room for the dancer to change in, away from guests, preferably with a mirror
• providing a CD player (that plays recorded CD’s - CDRs) and adequate amplification. A small portable stereo for a ballroom or large function room is not loud enough, please take this into consideration
• ensuring that the area where Zaliah is performing is clear of any broken glass as she dances bare foot.
• please also make sure that the dance floor is free of any spilt drinks as wet dance floors are slippery & dangerous for the dancer!

Why does hiring a belly dancer seem so expensive?
Zaliah is highly trained and has been performing professionally for over ten years. She has trained with some of the finest bellydance teachers in the world, and spent thousands of pounds on her professional costuming, music and training.
How flexible is the dancer on a time scale?
The dancer will arrive on time and only take around 20 mins max to get changed and ready to perform. It is waste of her time to have to hang around for hours before she dances. Whilst the dancer is flexible to the tune of say, a 30 minute wait, an hour or more is unacceptable & will be charged for. The dancer is paid for her agreed time slot for performance. She is not obliged to act as a hostess or socialise with your guest/customers. Indeed, it is generally considered bad form and unprofessional for a dancer to do this.
Why is the dancer paid beforehand rather than after a performance?
This elimates unnecessary waiting and the need for the dancer to have to find and ask the right person for their payment on the night. Often, if the gig is a large wedding or corporate event, it can take up to 30 mins for the dancers to find the relevant person. Also, it means that the transaction is discreet.
What can I expect from the dancer?
Absolute professionalism in the form of glamour, apptitude and experience. Zaliah can read and anticipate audience moods and needs, and adjust their performance accordingly. She does not force people up to dance against their will, or subject them to lewd or embarrassing acts at their expense. She treats each gig as a family event.
Zaliah is punctual, reliable and proud of her work!
What does the dancer wear?
Zaliah has a variety of cultural dance styled costumes, from folk costuming in which the dancer is completely covered, to glittery cabaret costumes. We do not wear skimpy or overly revealing costumes. Zaliah is a professional belly dancer, not a stripper or lapdancer.

Do you have musicians?
Zaliah can hire musicians on your behalf subject to availability.

Agents/Agencies
Please note that Zaliah will require full payment on the night of the performance
She does not subscribe to 30 or 60 day payment options
Zaliah may also require a deposit in advance of her performance to confirm the booking
MUSIC: For a small extra charge you can provide your own music for Zaliah’s performance.
You will have your selection of music professionally mixed & edited to complement your event.
Zaliah will require a CD of your tracks, at least one week prior to the performance date.
