COMPETITIONS!
CHILDREN’S ART COMPETITION & EXHIBITION!!
This years Parsley Pie competition will be hosted at The Waterside Arts Centre in Sale!
3rd September - 15th October
ASK JENNY FOR AN ENTRY FORM!!
• You can choose from 2 subject/theme categories:
THEME A - Invent an imaginary creature, super hero or cartoon character
THEME B - Invent a music album or computer game & create a CD cover, box design, T shirt design for it
• Your picture must be on a board & be able to hang on a wall.
• The picture can incorporate: paint, glue, clay, mosaic, jewels, glitter, pastels, charcoal & collage materials.
• Your entry must be created during Parsley Pie Art Club lesson time
• You can start painting your competition entry as soon as Jenny receives the completed entry form & £1.00 entry fee
• There will be 4 winners in total, 2 for each theme category in 2 separate age categories
• The age categories are 8 years & under and 9 years & over
• Each winner will be chosen by a judge (judge TBC)
• The winners will receive great prizes, including an arty prize & a fun prize!
• All 4 winners will also have their winning picture professionally framed by SEAL POINT in Hale Village
• You can enter one painting only, based on either one of the subject categories
• Your name must not appear on the front of your picture
• On the back of you picture put your: full name, age, D.O.B. & your chosen theme: A or B, & remember to paint the edges of your picture!
• You must also accompany your entry with a short description about your picture, why you chose that theme & what your picture means etc

1. 16th August 2008 - completed entry forms & £1.00 returned to Jenny
2. 23rd AUGUST 2008 - COMPETITION DEADLINE!
