I love the way they look, their forms, their physical characteristics. They
are survivors, truly beautiful and fascinating mammals! I love the way that
they are very independent and each cat, if you spend time getting to know
them, are very individual and have distinctive personalities! They are wise,
intelligent, funny and can be creatures that like their own space and freedom,
yet they can be so affectionate and playful with humans and other cats! They
are all unique and I try to portray this in my cat paintings. In many ways,
the way cats behave and like to lead their lives reminds me of myself sometimes!
My cats are a constant source of inspiration and motivation for me.
