Since Jenny Bent began painting in 1994, she has experimented with many different mediums, techniques and subjects. Along side concentrating her female form works, Jenny also spent a few years creating a large collection of contemporary abstract paintings, which are displayed in this gallery. “I enjoyed developing my abstract paintings because they allowed a spontaneous way of creation and I found the way they evolved interesting and often suprising! but my greatest passion has always been with my figurative work”
The Painted Nude
Some of the abstract collection were produced by private commission, some were specially commissioned by interior designers and the rest of the collection Jenny created, were successfully exhibited & sold in galleries nationwide.
Jenny’s abstract paintings were created using mixed media including: oils; acrylics; charcoal; plaster; spray paint; gouache; adhesives; pastels; preserved leaves; ferns and feathers.
